About PURE™
We're a family of naturopaths who got tired of telling patients "there's nothing else I can prescribe."
For three generations, our family has practiced naturopathic medicine. We've seen thousands of patients walk through our doors with the same problems — recurring jock itch, persistent back acne, athlete's foot that wouldn't quit, fungal breakouts on the chest and shoulders, infections that came back six weeks after every prescription cleared.
And for years, we did what every doctor does. We prescribed the cream. We recommended the body wash. We sent them home with the spray bottle, the powder, the foot soak. And we watched them come back. Same patient. Same problem. Sometimes worse.
Eventually you stop blaming the patient. You start asking what's actually wrong with the products.
The antifungal aisle is a graveyard of half-solutions.
Walk into any pharmacy and look at the shelves. Forty different products. Twenty different active ingredients. Three different brand names that are owned by the same parent company. Most of them target one symptom. Most of them sit on top of the skin instead of penetrating it. Most of them strip your skin barrier so badly that your body's natural defences against fungus are weaker after using the product than they were before.
Then there are the prescriptions. Stronger, faster, but with a list of side effects long enough to print on three pages of folded paper. And even those — the heavy artillery of antifungal medicine — clear the infection without changing the conditions that caused it. Which is why people end up on a second course. And a third. And a fourth.
The dirty secret of the entire antifungal category is that almost nothing on the market is designed to actually break the cycle. The market is built around recurrence. Repeat customers. Refills. The longer you have the problem, the more product you buy.
We watched this for thirty years and decided we'd had enough.
So we built the product we'd actually prescribe to our own family.
PURE wasn't designed for shelves. It wasn't focus-grouped. It wasn't built around a marketing claim or a celebrity endorsement or a viral TikTok. It was built around a single question we kept asking each other in our practice:
If a patient walked in tomorrow and we could give them anything we wanted — without restrictions, without insurance approval, without prescription pads — what would we hand them?
The answer wasn't a cream. It wasn't a spray. It wasn't a powder.
It was a bar of soap. Because soap is the only format that covers the entire body in 60 seconds, gets into every fold and crease where fungus actually lives, and doesn't require a patient to remember to apply it twice a day for six weeks.
But we didn't want just any soap. We wanted one built around five active ingredients that had survived three generations of naturopathic practice — tea tree oil, sulphur, witch hazel, ceramides, and coconut oil. Each one chosen for what it does, not for how it sounds. Each one in a clinically meaningful dose, not a token sprinkle to justify a label claim.
That's PURE. Five active ingredients. One bar. Everything else stripped out.
What we don't put in our soap matters as much as what we do.
No harsh sulphates. No synthetic fragrance. No parabens. No bleaching agents. No menthol shock. No "tingling sensation" designed to make you feel like the product is working. No mystery preservatives. No fillers added to bulk out the bar so it feels heavier in your hand.
If something doesn't actively help your skin, we don't include it. That's not a marketing line. That's the rule we built the company on.
Dermatologist approved. Family-formulated. No shortcuts.
Every batch is dermatologist approved. Every formulation decision goes through three generations of clinical experience before it touches a production line. Our soap is made in small runs, not industrial volumes — because when you're trying to maintain ingredient potency, you can't cut corners.
This isn't the cheapest way to make antifungal soap. It's the right way. We built the company knowing that.
Why we exist.
We exist because the antifungal aisle is broken. We exist because the patients we've seen for three generations deserve better than what's currently on the shelves. We exist because skin issues that have followed people for years can be solved — fully, properly, and without a prescription — when the right product is built by people who actually understand the problem.
We're not the biggest brand in the category. We're not trying to be. We're trying to be the brand that finally ends the cycle for the people who've been stuck in it for far too long.
Welcome to PURE.
